England win again.

A great win for England, who beat Trinidad & Tobago 2-0 yesterday. A better performance than against Paraguay, and a wonder-goal from Stevie Gerrard.
Well done to Ecuador who also qualified for the 2nd Round, after beating Costa Rica 3-0.
Here are a couple of pics from the England match..

England's two goalscorers - Crouch and Gerrard

Also a special mention for John Terry and his goal-line save.

ha i was talking to a girl (who for her own protection from rabid fans will remain nameless) on the phone last night and she was expressing a small sense of boredom while being forced to watch world cup games...i told her to look for the hot players and then it wouldn't be boring any more. and i hear they keep showing crouch when they should be showing michael owen. disgraceful. how do they expect to keep female non-fans interested? bad marketing, i tell you.

eerrrrggg i just wish i could watch any of the stinkin games i'm missing everything.

thats sounds like something marissa would say.

oh, i'm so thrilled with ecuador. but I DONT WANT THEM TO PLAY ENGLAND, i would be torn. i hope we tie or beat germany, or england lose their last qualifier match.

haha it wasn't marisa. jon probably wouldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do. besides, she has him, she doesn't need MORE hot footy players. no, this was someone else. good guess though.

hey Dave, ya I went to Capernwary Harbour in Canada for the last two years. It was fantastic. Ya, I now live in England and work with Stacey, doing youth work here in Yeovil. Thats sweet that you've gone, I had a great time, I was actually up at Capernwray Hall this year, speaking about what I do down here. It was an awesome time. I really miss the atmosphere of Capernwray. Take care man,
